Janet White
Office Administrator
Janet has been with the Practice since 1991, when the practice was Bacon & Hopkinson, and was initially a receptionist. She is now our Practice Administrator, responsible for the financial and administrative side of the practice. Her interests include travel, reading, gardening, and she enjoys going to her caravan at Skegness, to spend time with her family.
Jill Reardon
Receptionist
Jill joined the practice in the late 80s, having worked in the fashion trade since leaving school. She worked then for Mr Bacon, in all departments of the Practice, before moving into reception. She has loved working with and meeting lots of interesting people over the years, and has always had a love for animals and their welfare. Jill says "It has been fascinating watching the Practice grow into the modern hospital it is today and hope I will go on working in this lovely caring place for a lot longer!"
Clare Holmes
Receptionist
Clare joined us in 1994 after a varied career, including working with in the fashion trade for 6 years. She enjoys meeting people and their animals, and being involved in the practice. To relax, Clare is a graphologist (ie handwriting analysis) and has just started a painting class with artist Linda Wain.
Carolyn Johnson
Receptionist
Carolyn has been a receptionist with the Practice since 1993, and prior to this managed a dress shop in Alfreton. Her interests include cooking, walking in the Peak district, gardening and football.
Jill Johnson
Receptionist
Jill has been a receptionist with us since 1993. She is married with 2 children, and in her leisure time goes to the gym several times a week, walking her dogs (Meggie and Bruno), and spending time with friends.
Claire Truswell
Receptionist
Claire worked at a Chesterfield vets for 10 years, doing reception, nursing and administration work. She left there after having her second child, and has worked at Alfreton Park for 6 years. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, eating out and going to rock concerts!
Jackie Duroe
Receptionist
Jackie has been a receptionist with us since 2004, having been an area manager for Coates Viyella for 22 years before this. She enjoys walking, eating out, gardening and Pilates – which she finds just the thing to relax after a busy day at work!
