Have you ever wondered how different animals are treated by vets around the world? Our patients come in many shapes and sizes, and vets have learnt to be adapt to their different needs.
Newly opened in the UAE is the Dubai Camel Hospital - the first of its kind in the world, costing over £8 million. The hospital aims to find out more about camels, and treat their needs both surgically and medically.
The picture shows a camel on a specially adapted table - modified for the camel's long neck, long legs and hump! It is being treated for a foot infection.
Apparently camels are really good patients, very gentle and laid back!
