It was the end of an era today for us all at Alfreton Park, as nurse Judith Drury retired after 29 years with the practice. Judith was at one stage our only nurse, when we were still in our premises on Nottingham Road, and has been here as the practice grew and became a small animal hospital.
Judith loved being in the practice laboratory, and was often to be found peering down the microscope looking at swabs and slides. She has been dermatologist Carole Hopkinson's 'Right Hand Man' over the years, helping her with skin cases.
We would like to thank Judith for her many years of service, and wish her a long and happy retirement. We are all going to miss you.
