Home Visits 2

We will always try to do a home visit if requested, and certainly if we feel it is essential. However, we can't bring all our equipment along to your house, and it is sometimes harder to examine pets in their own home especially if they are protecting you! The diagnosis and treatment of your pet can be performed more effectively at the surgery.

If transport is an issue, Amber Taxis have promised they will always have a taxi available for use by our clients if required, and they will help you get your pet in the taxi at your house. We can help you get your pet out of the taxi when you arrive at the surgery.

Please try to call us before 9.30am if you would like a home visit.

Home Visits for Euthanasia

We fully understand how hard it is to make the decision to euthanase your pet, and will always help and support you as much as we can. If you request a home visit, a vet and nurse will come to your home at a pre-arranged time.  You may choose to keep your pet at home to bury, alternatively we can take him/her back to the surgery with us for cremation - there is the option of having the ashes back, or the ashes can be scattered at the crematorium.
