Please be aware we have had a case of lungworm in a young dog from Ripley. He started with breathing problems, which were found to be due to lungworm (Angiostrongylus vasorum), a nasty disease spread by infected slugs and snails.
This potentially fatal disease can easily be prevented by regularly worming your dog with a wormer which is effective against lungworm. If you aren't sure if the wormer you are using kills lungworm, please contact the surgery and we will help you.
